General bg question

I have a 29 rogue im in the process of gearing. I got some boots from arathi basin pvp. I have 3 -4 things i want from wsg. Im 2 battles short of getting the first one.

My question is what do you do after you get all the gear you can from pvping at a lvl and enchanting it with $$ enchants? If you cannot get gear for that lvl any longer do you just stay at that lvl for fun or go up 10 lvls and now all that twink gear doesnt cut it?

Im new to bg and pvp. I only know of Arathi basin and wsg for 29 and below. are there others?|||You do what you want. Usually, twinking is for people that already have high level characters so the enchants, librams and leg armors etc. that are crazy expensive at your level are much more affordable. I'd just play some more AB and WSG till you have what you want and you are bored with it, then continue on leveling. But remember it won't be much fun to play there again for several levels to come if you play in the higher bracket. There won't be a new battleground until you hit 51.|||Once you're twinked most people just farm honor or marks for the next level of gear that they're going to want. They enjoy the thrill of BGing in general and killing the opposite faction. Also, some people get enjoyment from helping the lowbies in the BG by twinking and winning in that bracket - so the new ppl and low ppl in the BG get marks etc faster - which helps them. Also, you can get the Battlestandard too at the lowest level but thats 15k and something that you'll be able to keep through lvl 80 even =)|||What is the battlestandard?

This is not my main. Im twinking now. I just didnt know I could carry the marks thru the next lvls.

Ill do this at lvl 29 till I get bored of it then work up to 39 and do it all over again or is there a reason to go to 49 or even 59 next?|||Quote:

Similar to a totem, it is placed in a stationary position, and provides 15% more health points for all party members within 45 yards of it. It can take 1500 points of damage before being destroyed. They can only be used in PvP Battlegrounds and have a cooldown of 10 minutes. They last for 2 minutes, until destroyed, or until the caster is killed.

Another type of battle standard that can only be used in the Alterac Valley Battleground are the Stormpike Battle Standard (Alliance) and Frostwolf Battle Standard (Horde). These battle standards also differ from regular battle standards in that they increase the damage (dealt) by 10% and have a cooldown of 15 minutes. They are similar in that they work on party members within 45 yards, last for a maximum of 2 minutes, and have 1500 health.

There's no "reason" unless you just like BGs, you want the gear (only viable for a few levels if you're leveling the char up), or you're going to twink that character "on the 9's" for each BG bracket just for fun.

I think if it's your first character then keep leveling it. First off like someone mentioned, it's really expensive to build a great twink unless you have high-lvl main or friends. Secondly, bg's before 40 are really really slow without a mount, and very annoying to me. And lastly there are 2 more BG's -- eye of the storm and alterac valley which you can get into later, plus there's arena. Have fun with BG's, and try to save some marks for later.|||Actually I have 1 70 and several around 40. I spend 200g on my twink so far. firey though, not crusader. You grabbing the WSG Bow? It's decent and has a model for each level in case you didn't know about it.

[item]Outrunner's Bow[/item]|||Yes that bow. I got boots from Arathi, a necklace, ring and dagger from WSG. I have a mace that is better stats than the sword at wsg, but its main hand. So I may stay and get the sword and the bow before I move on and lvl up.|||If you want you may want to get the trinket and the belt as well from AB.

Belt is okay the AP boost is nice, and the trinket will take a couple hits for you. Not as good as the arena grandmaster but still nice to self bubble for a min.
