Thank you! (To the DPSers who protects healers)

A few days ago I decided to spec holy for arenas. This left me with a lot of time to kill in game (instances (I refuse to go if I cant tank :)), or grinding without a partner), so I decided to venture into battlegrounds again alone.

I was a little bit afraid. My first experiences of battlegrounds were not great. I spend most of my time waiting to be resurrected, or uhm waiting to be resurrected. But this time, I was pleasantly surprised.

Ive only been in one battleground where the DPSers did not risk life and limb to protect me. Whenever an alliance player decides it might be a good idea to attack me, he got feared/sapped/sheeped/generally torn apart.

Ive even had flag carriers stop running towards the base to kill whatever was hurting their little paladin.

So, I would like to extend a thank you to those who protect the healers in the battlegrounds. Not only can it turn the match around, it makes it fun for us as well.|||Quote:

Meh. Wish the same happened for Alliance paladins. /mutter /grumble|||Quote:

I wish a lot of things happened for Alliance...

Winning for example|||Paladins don't really need much help IMO (speaking as someone with one). Heck, no healer needs help that much anymore against the average pug ><|||you are welcome.|||no problem mate :)

now HAEL!

Hmm, I mostly PvP as either a resto shammy or a hunter- should I thank myself, or will that cause eyesight problems?|||Gratz . . grrrrrr . . . lol

hehe - in the last couple days the alliance in my battlegroup are starting to realize a few things and are

1) Putting an icon on the healers heads so that everyone knows who to run torwards / and protect if the need arises

2) Haven't been so gungho when flag running - actually staying in a group and not running so far ahead that the healer can't even heal them.

3) are actually going after the healers first

4) some . . some are calling out efc direction, locatoins, etc. . .

now this has been in the 29 bg's with my mage and rogue . . . the 70 alliance peeps still haven't learned to kill the healer first ( i love how pissed dudes get b/c . . they ALMOST had that warrior except for the priest that healed him up to full life right before he ALMOST killed him - ummm priest first maybe?) . . . . LOL

so hopefully they have some twinks and are playing some lower bg's as my shouts of call out inc!, kill that healer!, etc are still being ignored lol

Except that in the 70 BGs, this isn't always good advice, either. If the healer is a resto shammy or a paladin, then you'll get ripped to bits by the DPS long before the healer goes down. It's better to CC the healer, and then kill the others. "LOL"|||Quote:

Good point dude

Shammies heals are just so damn fast and pallies w/ bubbles + lay on hands = long time trying to take them down
