I just got this item and I'm curious if it's any good outside AV.|||It depends on character level and server type and character class and your own AV playstyle. If you are in an instance/raid that requires frost resistance, it's a handy item to have around. If on a PvP server and you need a little extra dodge, it's a good item. Outside of that I keep it around to recall during an AV if I'm needed on Defense. I know for a deterrence spec hunter it gives you that extra little slight advantage against melee opponents.
