Strange tactic?

[:1]Hi, I am not sure if this is already posted somewhere, if so link to it so I may read it. If not, I have wondered something.

I never did a lot of BGs while lvling to 70. Now that I am 70 I have really started getting into them.

The question I have regards something that has really been frustrating to me as I do not really know the reason why it is done and I do not dare ask in BG chat or be flamed for being a noob.

I am on The Scryers Server which is the Retaliation battlegroup.

I never notice the horde doing this and they tend to win most BGs in our battlegroup it seems.

So with them winning a lot I wonder what is it we as alliance seem to be doing wrong and one thing I have noticed the alliance do A LOT in Warsong Gulch is... Whenever someone gets the flag, and actually makes it back to the base, why do they never cap it even when the base is clear?

They hang on to the flag for some reason I do not know, stand inches from the flag spot and never cap it???

Eventually a stealthed rogue or cat form druid usually sap and spank and we lose the flag. I just really do not understand this. I am sure there is some tactic they may be trying to implement but I do not know what it is.

I understand things like EotS where we hang on to the flag until we get more back at the flag spawn point so we may get the flag again, but in WG that doesn't apply.

Any thoughts?

That I understand people doing, but more honor comes from winning right?

We end up losing, not just WG but alot of BG's because people in the BG chat talk about killing as many people as they can. HK's give way less honor than the bonus honor at the end by winning.

Not to mention if it's the daily and you get the bonus honor from turning that in.

Yeah, you do get more honor from winning. If only someone told these nubs that...|||Indeed, farming honor is rather pointless like that, especially in my bracket (20-29). It usually turns out badly. The constant lack of team work Alliance side frustrates me, but I've not changed from Dwarf to Tauren just yet. Its like the Alliance is firing a shotgun at something 2,000 feet away, while the Horde is using a sniper rifle.|||Quote:
