[:1]Both flags are hiding. I say in /bg where is the flag and I get on the roof with 2 guards. There is a hunter waiting for back up and I tell him I am close. As I start to go up to the roof a rogue jumps the hunter and he says keep going, I can pull him away and he does (props for the strategy on his part). I get to the top to find a twink holding the flag and a *VC wanna be guarding him. I sap the flag, kill the VC guard and stealth, ambush the flag he jumps off and the chase is on- we rotate sprint, evasion and I finally get the last backstab in their tunnel and return the flag just in time- two more semi twinks run down the tunnel. I kill the rouge with about 20% health and get the hunter down to about 50% before I die. 3 and a half twinks and a flag return. : )
I just loved the fact that the bg chat went like this
Youaredead: Where is he?
BG: Roof
Youaredead: how many are up there?
BG:3
Flag has been returned by Youaredead.
It was just a tell me where they are and I will handle it, type feeling.
*VC wanna be: Full defies set , two cruel barbs w/ fiery on them. Possibly some gear enchants. Can kill normal players, cant really touch a twink.
I did get royally pwned by a warlock. Props to the lock twinks that are good- few and far between.|||Excellent work. Just wait until you get your name out there for being able to do such feats.
Nothing is better than:
Person 1: Where is the flag and how many are guarding it?
Person 2: Roof, and guarded by 5.
Person 1: Youaredead, the 9 of us will defend. You can get their flag back....right?
Youaredead: Hmmm....
Flag returned by Youaredead.
I opted to play defense the few times I was in WSG. 4 people coming up the tunnel? No problem. But it does feel awesome when players finally just say "Magepriest (my twinks name) lets finish this, goget the flag."
Grats bud, have a blast with it!
And another thing that will really make you feel twinked to the teeth. Get into a 1v2 arena against 2 non twinks and use your gun/bow to kill them both.
Hysterical!|||A friend and I both started twinks at the same time and we both kind of help each others reputations by accident - we both made gnome rogues (i really am sorry about that) - with green hair - mine is female, his is male.
Names?
him - uaredead
me- youaredead
looking back we both wish we would have done "wndrboy" and "yngnastyman" or something of the like.
edit: fixed rouge typo....see! I am trying! lol|||Sure, twinks are fun..
My personal favourite, however, is getting a char to lvl 29 or 39, gearing it up with self-crafted items worth less than the money I made lvling it, choosing some talents (and, at first, a class) which don't depend on gear, and owning you 'real' twinks.
Sure, if there's 4 of them of which at least 1 is a twink and I can't trap it, I'm ****ed, but until then.. discount twinks ftw! :P|||last night was my greatest moment (and first) as a twink :)
lvl 38 lock: kerolocki, medivh server (check it out on armory)
+173 spells
+245 shadow
2.2k hp w/ imp
2.6k mp
so i just dinged 38, got my next set of spells, and equipped most of the rest of my uber gear - 2 bands of the underworld, defiler's boots, and black mageweave gloves w/ +20 to spells. i'm horde side and just waiting on some marks for the rest of my defiler's stuff. anyway, after getting that stuff equipped i, of course, had to try it out in the bgs. so i head over to the BG lady and say "can i join AB plz?" to which she replies "surely!"
AB starts up, and horde is down 9 to 11 alliance players when the gates open. doesn't matter to me either way since i just want to try out some of my spells. i head over to BS and theres only me and a druid and he caps the flag. a couple alliance show up and i throw amplify curse on the first to be in range - man i felt bad for him after that. as soon as we capped that, it was off to the stables to guarantee i could find some action to REALLY try out my new spells.
the druid who capped BS comes w/ me and we head over to the stables to melt some face. we get there, and there isn't anyone around :( so i start capping the flag - at which point i get shot by a hunter who was hiding w/ 1/3 of his HP left. silly hunter! dot, dot, dead. now we cap. shortly thereafter, the rest of the alliance team filled up and 3 new guys + the hunter i killed come running out of their home base. i'm filled up w/ hp + mp so i figure, why not give it a go? what i didn't notice as i charge it was the druid backing up because he sees 4v2... so now 2 mages, 1 hunter, and 1 lower lvl warrior and all 4 of them have me targetted, and the mages are shielded up so i hit amplify curse, and hit the higher level mage w/ it. siphon life gets thrown on all 4 of them, and its ticking for +42 to +45 which is some damn fine regen. i finish dotting all of them with my shadow dots, and proceed to life drain the mage who got amplify curse. he's doing his mage thing throwing all the dps he can at me... but with the 4 siphon lifes and drain life going down... he's barely hurting me! he also found out (as did i) that you can't blink out of drain life, at which point he died. now i drain life the next mage and he's trying his best to do the same dps job as the last guy ---lvl 32 warrior dies from regular dots /lol--- but he goes down just like the last guy. however, i've only got 2 siphon life dots left and after the mage i have almost no mana, and even less health. honestly, i had 1-2% hp and 3-4% mp and i'm down to the one hunter who has 1/3rd hp left. the only thing i have time to do to hope i survive is drain life. the hunter is hitting me with all he has got, but my drain life is ticking for +100, +100, +100, +101, +100... and he can't take me down! he's got nothing left, my mp ticks up enough for me to get 1 more drain life on him, and he goes down!!! chat screen goes:
druid: wtf?
me: ahahahahahahahahaa
me: i just took 4 kids down at once
extra1: woot!
extra2: lol!
needless to say the next time they came out of the gate, they all went for me again but this time it was 5. i can't take 5 at once by myself... but with a druid pocket healer, apparently i can :) finally on their third try they smartened up a bit and sheeped me and proceeded to kill the druid... but by then we got some back up and i broke poly. once more we got them down but this time i burned my health stone & a greater healing potion to stay alive since the druid was OOM from healing himself through their attacks. next try, they came 8 strong and i got some dots off, but couldn't hold them any longer. at my first death of the match, i was 17-1, the next closest was 4-0. later on in the match, i lost to a rogue 1v1 and /afk'd out :P
i will post a screen shot when i get home! i left at 24-3 (i was 24-2 before i met that rogue @ the lm...)|||That sounds awesome Kerosene. I'm going to try and follow in your twinked footsteps now. Warlock power!|||Nerf lvl 39 warlocks.. I was in a WSG earlier today where a warlock fitting your description (apart from the name) held our flag - while running forth and back between the bases, and gettings lots of healing + help to kill the 9 members of my team who were trying to get the flag back - for about 15 minutes.. During which a shaman and 2 rogues were trying to kill me (they didn't have a chance, but still annoying)...
Then they finally figured out how to disable his healers, wasted the warlock, and won the game.. from what my battle map was saying, 4 rogues had sapped each their healer and kept the warlock stunlocked.
Funny thing about warlocks, you're actually best when outnumbered.. apart from tripple shielded (AB trinket + Arena trinket + VW sacrifice) warlocks I've still to loose a 1v1 with them.. my pet and my gun combined will keep them from casting anything, and I can survive the dots for longer than they can survive my dmg (especially when my cat stuns during their lifedrain).|||And when they try to do syphon life, scatter shot -> unload arsenal.
The thing that sucks is after their dead and those dots are still ticking, they'll come back to life and finish you off. It's like "does that make a tie?"
I took out 2 locks and a shammy defending LM one time. Used all my mana, popped trinkets, pots, FA, but impossibly got the deed done. Makes you feel like a god.|||Superb WSG yesterday.
By now I'm a level 49 BM hunter, technically not twinked (in the sense that I haven't spent ANY gold on him, apart from a loan I gave him in lvl 1 to speed up the levelling, which he's more than paid back through disenchantable items).
My enemy: 10 hordies and a lvl 48 fully twinked draenei shaman - we're talking all epics and rares, MASSIVE axe, and all the cool JC trinkets.
After my cat, King Bangalash, beat him in a duel without me adding any DPS (I did a few mana drains, heals, intimidations, and BW, but I didn't do any DPS to him), he decided to go moaning about how bad a pet King B is because he does slightly less dmg (in return of a 30% attackspeed increase, ending his DPS 15% above all other cats) and how he'd be able to beat me if he wanted to.
By now I got a bit bored with him and went to join WSG, while sending him a /whisper asking politely why, if not my cat and certainly not my rather poor gear, I kept ending up at the top of the scoreboards even if playing defensively.
He took that almost as personally as I'd taken him offending my pet. My pet, I should mention, is able to solo a lvl 49 druid, even if the druid is healing and I don't know where they're at (not even a Line of Sight to hit BW).
And how twinks settle stuff like that? A challenge on who can get the most killing blows, of course! "I'll show you the top of the scoreboard!". So I accept to sign him up for WSG, knowing that he'll either be chanceless or gain me 2 more marks by simply keeping the entire horde team occupied while I run the flag, and we go there.
2 minutes after game has started: I've got 7 killing blows, no deaths. He's on 2KB/3 deaths.
After the rest of our team has captured the flag twice (me and the shaman was farming hordies in the middle of the map, not letting any kil- I mean hordies through) I've reached 31/6 and he mysteriously disappears from the BG. Last I checked he was at 14/8.
Then I went to get their flag, 4 defenders so while my pet soloed the hunter who was waiting right next to the flag, most likely with a trap ready, I killed a shaman from the Balcony, which made another run up to get me, jumped down to trap the 4th defender and ran to tunnel before the 1 attacking "me" on the balcony realised what was happening.
Of course I wouldn't have made it to to our flagroom if it wasn't because 5 more members of the Alliance were waiting at the end of their tunnel, ready to shield and heal me, but I still like to think that I made a difference.
My Final Score: 41 Killing Blows, 7 deaths, tons of HKs (lost count), tons of damage done (I stopped checking when I passed 100k as that'd been my goal. This happened when I still "only" had 31 KBs). More Healing Done than what I think he would've had, thanks to Spirit Bond...
A truly awesome twink moment.
Except that I'm not, technically, a twink.|||Quote:

psh.......My shaman laughs at this. Purge cures all. I wonder why I'm the only one that does it?
