[:1]Hey everybody. I did a research project recently about the best strategies for winning in Warsong Gulch, and I ended up with some pretty interesting strategies.
I found that the most effective tactic for higher level characters (I was working with the 50-59 bg) was having a small team (two or three people) on defense, a small flag carrying team to run up the right side, and then having everyone else battle it out in upper midfield near the opposing team's keep until the flag carrier came out, at which time everyone could run back with him/her. I found that putting most of the people in the upper midfield not only provided protection for a runner coming in, but then prepared the field for the flag carrier to exit either from the ramp or the tunnel.
I also researched low levels (10-19), and found that tactics were quite different. With low level bg's, by far the most effective tactic was to have everyone but one person battle it out in midfield, and then have one player run up right field to the ramp and take the flag while everyone was distracted in the midfield. In the four battles that my team won during my research (I played eight total), 10 of the 12 points scored used this strategy.
