I dont see the point of mounts in Warsong Gulch

I dont see much point in allowing mounts to be used in Warsong Gulch, in such a small map, surely the emphasis should have been placed on tracking flag carriers without the use of such fast mobility as an epic mount, it completely takes away the value of of Ghost Wolf, Travel Form, and Aspect of the Cheetah, thoughts?|||I thought it balanced out the way it was so hard to catch a ghost wolf flag carrier.|||I like it. It's a change of pace from running wsg on pre 40 alts - it also even's out the playing field when it comes to traveling across mid - no more trying to catch a ghostwolf or a druid in travel form - everyone generally mounts (depending on your exit area and incomming enemies) - then it becomes a who's got the pally aura and a riding crop on ? lol Though they still have the advantage b/c if they get stunned or cc'd they can dismount and change forms in less time than someone can mount.

So yes, I like it, and I like that it takes away (somewhat) the value of ghost wolf and travel form and aspec (I hate getting stunned) and even's out the field a bit more for other classes.

p.s. - it's also kind of like a quick car chase which adds a bit to the rush of playing IMO.

A post must be at least 10 characters of unquoted text. "I agree" is 7. "I agree with this" is a few more.|||I like WSG pre-40 better than post-40, and I play a shadow priest in 30-39 bracket. You just have to learn how to communicate and react fast. The possibility of crossing the field untouched, if the opponent isn't on the ball, enhances the game.|||As a Subt rogue at lvl49 I could still double Sprint (with preparation) across the field ^^

Nope, they have loads of value. FC can't mount, which is why a druid/hunter/shammy/rogue FC can be nice, if you're going for speed. The other approach is the "In Soviet Russia" one, of course, let a prot warrior take the flag, stick a healer to him, and laugh.|||Try catching up to a druid in travel form with 4 piece set bonus from merciliess gladiator gear. It's near impossible. They run about the same speed as an epic land mount.
