Raiding help needed

[:1]Hi all I'm new to the game. I didn't realized I was hooked until recent. Now I'm a wow fiend and I need help getting into raids. I am a level 72 warrior and I have done all instances other then the ones that are locked . It says I don't have the key or somthing. How do I get picked to raid and what shall I do to prepare. I don't understand anything about blue or green armor. I'm a fury talent so someone told me to get blue. I read about a key I should have that will give me a head start. Plz explain how can I get picked and how I can become a beast and help my raid guild. Plz use noon terms cuz I'm a rooks and I'm in the uldam realm|||well first things first, in order to raid, you need to get to level 80. once there you can start doing heroic instances which are basically harder versions of the northrend instances you've already done, desgined for level 80s. when you kill bosses in those instances, you will get emblems of triumpth. these emblems are used as currency for level 80 gear. this is the easiest way to gear up and get ready to raid.

a piece of armour or weapon will have a different colour depending on their quality. grey names are basically useless and should be sold to a vendor. white items are just as bad and can also be vendored. green items are the next step up and contain stats, and while are decent when leveling, by level 80, you should have very little green items. blue items are better quality than greens with higher stats on them, you want to have mostly these items when you reach level 80. purple items (epic) are pretty much the best you can get (not always though) and contain much better stats than blue items. you should have mostly (if not all) purples in order to raid.

once you start getting purple gear, you'll need to enchant it and gem it. to enchant your gear, you need to find an enchanter and get the materials for all the enchants you need (you'll be able to obtain them from instances or off the auction house). sometimes a piece of gear will have a slot (yellow, blue or red) into which you can put a gem. gems are cut by a jewlcrafter and provide bonuses like +strength or +stamina.

that should keep you busy for awhile but if you have any other questions, all you have to do is ask.|||The keys are for Heroic instances. You'll need to have high enough reputation wit whatever faction has the key for a specific Heroic Instance, then buy that key from the vendor that sells it. Also some instances require you to go through a quest or series of quests in order to get the key needed.

You're new to the game, yet have a level 72? And don't understand the difference between green, blue and purple armors?|||go to bosskillers for good kill strats too
