59 or 60?

[:1]Ok I am leveling a warrior alt and want to get the lvl 60 gear while on the way. So would it be better for me to grind the honor and marks at 59 or 60? Right now I think the best option is get the WSG and AB marks at 59 then grind out the AV and honor at 60.|||I'm not a pvp expert but that would seem to make sense. I find battlegrounds to be a lot more fun when you're at the high end of the scale rather than a FNG peon.

A friend of mine just hit 70 and really regrets not maxing out his marks and honour at 69 as he is getting creamed every battle by experienced and well-geared 70s.

Bear in mind that it's posible to get xp in AV, probably not enough to level from 60-61 but you should be careful if you don't want to switch brackets.|||Depends on your BG.

On mine, the 59 bracket is completely dead.

The 29/39/49 brackets do well and are much easier to obtain marks with.|||There are not many 59, 60 (AV) and 69 twinks so people don't stay in those brackets long. The queue time is long and the honor points are less than 70's.

In other words, 70's BGs have more honor points, more experienced players and shorter queue time.|||Quote:

I relize that 70 BG's have shorter queue times but realy why would I want to lvl up to 70 when what I want is the lvl 60 armor and weapons? At 70 they become banked stuff since they would have no use other than looking cool.|||Quote:

If you intend to level your warrior to 70, those lvl 60 armors/weapons will be replaced in a few levels.|||Quote:

Not really. I used the daggers on my second rogue right till she got the level 70 PvP daggers.

Similarly, I didn't replace the fist weapons on my first rogue till level 67-69.

Might be a bit easier on a warrior cos they're less picky, but still...|||Quote:

The level 60 pvp dagger [item]Grand Marshal's Dirk[/item] is good until [item]Ceremonial Warmaul Blood-blade[/item] at 65 by doing Ring of Blood quest.

A good BOE off-hand 64 dagger: [item]Blade of Unquenched Thirst[/item].

It is just a personal preference how/where/what/when to use the honor points.

My S1+S3 rogue (418 resil) will not use his honor points on S2 items but waiting for the level 80's pvp gears.|||She was mutilate. Blade of Unquenched Thirst is *way* too fast and the Blood-blade wasn't nearly as powerful in its low-end and high-end damage due to the faster speed. The difference was big enough to be able to ignore the 4 DPS difference on the weapons.
