Getting to Wintergrasp?

[:1]I want to get into Wintergrasp just to do a fishing quest.

Trouble is (after lots of messing and trying from other regions) I find out I need to fly (but I'm only lev 74) or use a portal from Dalaran.

Trouble is, I just can't find a portal in Dalaran that goes to Wintergrasp - is it hidden somewhere, or do you have to ask a npc to make it? I see there are battleground portals as well as capital cities, is it one of those?

(Alliance, by the way).|||The portal is in the middle between BG portals and city portals, but it is only opened when battle starts, and then for some time.

If you get it when your faction has contol over WG it will take you to the keep, so you want to use it when the other faction has control over WG so you will be ported near flightpath. You can take the flightpath, so you will be able to fly there any time later.|||Quote:

Thanks Triplex that's exactly the kind of information I was looking for.|||Be aware that there are lvl 80 mobs that roam around and in the bodies of water. Fish at your own risk. My lvl 74 went there and aggroed mobs for miles around. I'm not gonna do any more of that quest till she can protect herself better, or take a guard.|||Quote:

Didn't have a problem to be honest. I started in the keep (as Alliance had initial control), just headed south to a lake and hopped onto an ice patch in the middle to fish. That way I kept away from horde L80 players and had no trouble with mobs. I had to stop and exchange opinions with a couple of mobs on my way to find the flightpath out, but they were quite within the limits of a L74 character I thought, though multiple pulls would have been testing!
