noob to the battlegrounds...questions

[:1]I know I made 70 the week after the AV weekend.

How often do these happen?

Are there weekends for the other BG as well?

I had a blast in AV this weekend (MY FIRST TIME) and have lots of honor and marks. Now all I need is some sleep and a back brace :)

Now to the gladiators weapons and armor you have to do EOTS....CRAP

40 marks just for the weapons

can marks be exchanged or traded for anything ?

my little rogue needs everything in gear he just has quest greens and some blues.

Is there anything besides gladiators for armor that is good?

Lol, I wish that would happen, too many idiots. Just remember fighting in the middle for the flag is less of a priority. You can usually gauge the noobity of each side by how many people are fighting for the flag. Don't bother committing to this too much, better to cap the towers (just stand around and it caps itself). If you have 5 people at one tower and they have 6, they will eventually cap it. You get a lot more points per second for having 3 towers than you do for having 2 and capturing the flag.

You can exchange one of each mark (four) for honor as part of a repeatable quest (as many times as you want).

You can also go to Stormwind and buy weapons, armor and potions and other things. The place is in Old Town.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's just AV and it happens once a month. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.|||each weekend is a specific BG weekend. there's a calendar on it on the worldofwarcraft.com site. Might be different for the EU. Note that you can't be kicked from a BG unless you go with a premade.

If you go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/events/calendar/ you can find out what weekend it is. As well as other events going on at that particular time.
