New to Battlegrounds had some ???

I have been playing WOW for about 3 months and I have an Alliance lvl 29 Lock 12/3/5. A guildmate asked me to do battlegrounds with him so I said ok. I have done a few and noticed a couple things that make me say WTF?

1. My teammate with the horde flag gets to the Alliance flag room and runs around without placing the flag? Its as if they are waiting for something. When I ask what they r doing they do not reply. Saw this twice the first time teammate eventually placed the horde flag in our spot about a minute later. Is there any reason for this?

2.The other match Alliance are up 1-0 and my teammate has the horde flag in our flag room. He doesn't place the flag but proceeds to run around and then runs back on the battlefield to the horde side only to die. Our team could have been up 2-0 we eventually lose 3-2. Again when I asked the player what he was doing no reply. Has anyone ever had a player do this?

I have the read the posts about why the alliance loses in WSG and I would agree that teammwork/communication is not always there but I believe the majority of matches I have been in, the Alliance team won. Even when in a match against a bunch of horde twinkies that beat me like a rented mule I still have a good time. My strategy is DOT and run like heck. Fear if possible. Win or lose its always a good time.|||You cannot place the horde flag unless the alliance flag is in it's position, and vice-versa.

Any FC (flag carrier) that gets back to your side then has the audacity to run back over to the opposing side in an attempt to kill the EFC (enemy flag carrier) themselves, is a complete idiot - you will see these types on occasion and they think that they're the most ubber player on the field that or they're fed up with no one trying to get the flag back (you have all HK farmers) and just don't care.

Here's a WSG guide:
